WHAT EXACTLY IS COLOUR TEMPERATURE?
The Colour temperature is measured in Kelvins (K). The light bulb's colour temperature describes the lighting's aesthetic. Sunlight during the day is roughly 6400K. The light in our homes are typically between 2700-4000K, depending on the bulb used.
Light bulbs of 2700-3000K produce a more soft, warm light such as old incandescent light bulbs. Neutral lights are provided by medium-temperature bulbs that are 4000-4600K. The daylight is provided by high-temperature bulbs that are 5000-6500K.
